Nigerian singer-songwriter Simi has just released a new song since her album “To Be Honest” in 2022. The Loudaaa produced single sees Simi reminisce on the effects of romantic love on her emotional and mental health to the point where she no longer recognizes herself anymore. While the lyrics are in her normal writing style, her vocal delivery is quite commendable. Known for singing in a more laid back manner, Simi pulls us into her world as she belts out the chorus, line after line, she realizes she has lost herself in the pursuit of love. As her first release of the year, we are very excited to hear what comes next.
