Omah Lay and Ayra Starr, two prominent Afrobeats stars, have been featured on the deluxe edition of the soundtrack for Marvel’s animated “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse”. This highly anticipated second installment follows the critical and commercial success of the prequel, “Spider-Verse,” which grossed over $380 million upon its release in 2018.
The album was produced by acclaimed American record producer Metro Boomin. Omah Lay collaborates with Big Boss Vette on the track titled “I Can’t Stop,” while Ayra Starr joins forces with Becky G on “Take It To The Top.”
Another notable inclusion is Wizkid, who appears on the song “Link Up” alongside Don Toliver, Beam, and Toian. The soundtrack also boasts renowned artists such as Swae Lee and Post Malone, who contributed to the first installment of the movie’s soundtrack.
Additionally, the lineup features esteemed rappers like Nas, Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz, 21 Savage, A$AP Rocky, JID, A Boogie With Da Hoodie, and Lil Uzi Vert, among others.
